Four men are on trial in Ipswich for growing cannabis
The trial of four men, including two from Ipswich, who are accused of conspiracy to produce cannabis, will take place later this month.
Before Ipswich Crown Court for a pre-trial hearing on Monday (June 7th) were: Gazmund Daci, 33, from Wherstead Road, Ipswich, Fatjon Sulmataj, 35, from Manor Road, Birmingham, Myles Davies, 37, from Henley Road Ipswich and Ionut Gheorghita, 28, has no permanent address.
They are jointly accused of conspiring together and with others to produce cannabis between March 1, 2019 and March 25 of last year.
Daci and Gheorghita have also denied conspiring among themselves and with others to deliver cannabis between the same dates.
On October 24, 2019, Gheorghita also denied having illegitimate ID.
The men were charged with crimes related to an investigation by the Special Operations Unit Eastern Region (ERSOU).
Daci, Sulmataj and Gheorghita are on remand and Davies is out on bail.
Her process, which is expected to take five to six weeks, is scheduled to begin on June 28th.
