GrowGeneration Corp. bought Hoagtech Hydroponics in its 13th acquisition of the year, bringing the number of hydroponics garden stores to 59.

Hoagtech Hydroponics, a wholesaler and retailer, has a 25,000 square foot warehouse in Bellingham, Washington.

Companies like GrowGeneration and Hydrofarm Holdings Corp. have caught the attention of investors interested in the increased availability of legal marijuana while avoiding companies that “touch the plant”.

GrowGeneration, which recently raised its sales forecast for 2021 to between $ 455 million and $ 475 million, expects more than 70 garden center locations by the end of 2021. The company announced in July that it would acquire Michigan-based HGS Hydro.

GrowGeneration sells items such as nutrients, soil, greenhouse kits, hydroponic equipment, and lighting.
