Anuvia Plant Nutrients promotes sustainable agriculture
Winter Garden, FL, Sept. 28, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Anuvia Plant Nutrients, an innovator in sustainable plant nutrients, today announced a partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Joint Genome Institute (JGI) to advance discoveries that make farmers who wish to improve sustainable soil health practices, deliver new state-of-the-art phytonutrient technologies.
The JGI research team, led by Trent Northen, is conducting a series of analytical chemical experiments on various plant raw materials and soil samples from Anuvia’s research plots. Researchers designed a fabricated ecosystem device (EcoFAB) that reveals the mechanisms underlying the interactions between plants and their microbial root communities. By combining the powerful tools of liquid chromatography (LC) and mass spectrometry (MS), JGI can precisely measure microbial changes to identify product-specific organic compounds that support the growth of beneficial microbes.

Currently, Anuvia makes highly efficient, sustainable bio-based fertilizers that deliver consistent, slow-release multi-nutrients and reintroduce organics into the soil that stimulate food for microbes to multiply. Slow-release technology allows more nutrients to be used, reducing nutrient loss through leaching or volatilization.
