Sunday Morning Science Lab November winner Cooper Ruzycki’s Hydroponics Project is food for thought

November 23, 2021

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Palmer Trinity seventh grader Cooper Ruzycki was hired to create a hydroponic facility that could help the environment. It’s about how indoor farming with hydroponics is an approach to growing food sustainably while addressing challenges like climate change and land scarcity.

He shows his model, which can produce anywhere.

“You can grow this anywhere; in space, in the rainforest, anywhere, as long as you have a plant and water and energy. If you’re in the desert, you could grow this in the desert,” Ruzycki said.
